Under My Umbrella-ella-ella

I am not a creative person by nature. My creativity is limited to the kitchen! I can whip up a pretty tasty meal with whatever I have in the fridge and pantry. I guess that's why baking is more of a challenge. Although I enjoy it just as much, it requires more precision. Anyway, when it comes to the wedding, I'm one of those brides that looks around for hours and hours on the web and at other bride's blogs in order to get inspirations and ideas. Needless to say I spend waaaaay to much time online!

So on one of my searches I came across photos like these ones:

Photos from here and here

I love how the parasols look! I totally want pictures like that! So I went ahead and bought some! I found these beauties at Save On Crafts.

I bought three in this aqua color and will be purchasing some white or cream ones as well! Can't wait to use them! Are you using any props for your photos?

I LOVE those purple parasols! We’ll probably use at least a couple for our photos, and might toss some flower petals around, too. I think it’s such a fun idea.

Love those parasols! You reminded me, I keep meaning to hop over to Chinatown and see if I can score some on the cheap. Your pictures are going to be so beautiful!

I think this is a great idea!! And not just for a wedding -- engagement photos with an umbrella would be so lovely (Is it wrong that I just want to take TONS of different engagement photos? I do first have to actually get engaged, but I'm working on that).

I think the umbrellas are a great idea, especially if you mix up the colors a bit. :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE parasols. I am definitely going to have one because I love the whole "Thank You" written on the parasol thing and then we can use them for thank you notes. (I'll just photoshop it on after the fact.)

Those pics are all so great!
