Our Wedding Song

Mr. Milk and I are not one of those lucky couples that have a song. Choosing a wedding song has been a long process, which involved trying to find something that wasn't overly romantic and sappy, but that had a fun feeling to it. I really liked this song...

But clearly the lyrics are not for a wedding! But then we came across this...

Everything by Michael Buble

We both like the lyrics and the fact that its a more up-beat, happy song. Now all we need to do is figure out how to dance to it! I think a dance class is in order...

Great choice! We also chose an upbeat song with "Fly Me To The Moon." And I defintiely reccommend lessons if you have the time and interest!

This was our 1st dance song!!! PLEASE, whatever you do, take this advice: practice. Seriously, even if you do it in your living room, practice at least once. Because Josh and I were apart for the 6 weeks leading up to our wedding we literally could not practice. And while we had fun doing our dance, it was a little awkward. It's not a sway back and forth song, but it's not a super dance-y song either. Mid-tempo is hard! So practice and have fun with it :)

This was my maid of honor's first dance song at her wedding last month and they did an adorable choreographed dance. Great choice!

Cool, Chocolate Lover! My dance w/ my dad was a more fun upbeat song too (The Way You Look Tonight). Good for you!

It was hard for Sean and I too. We went back and forth between a few and changed it the last couple of weeks. We ended up with "Steady As We Go" by Dave Matthews. He is my favorite artist and it felt good :)
