The Guys Ties

I finally got my act together and ordered the guys ties! Can I just say how much easier it is to figure out the men's attire than it is to figure out the women's!

Once we'd decided on a dress, picked out colors, and ordered them, I started the hunt for ties that would match the ladies dresses. And to be honest this was pretty easy! It only took me a couple of websites until I came across The Tie Bar. They have sooooo many ties on there and you can search by color, style, pattern, and so on!

And the best parts? Their ties cost just $15 (except if you want the extra length ones)! And the ties I bought are 100% woven silk! And they have flat rate shipping!

Once I'd placed my order I was contacted within 20 mins or so by one of their customer service staff letting me know that they only had one of the aqua ties in stock but would be getting some within the next 2 weeks, and would it be ok to wait till then to ship my order all together. So although I have yet to receive my order, I am still excited about it! I ordered the Herringbone ties cause I liked the texture and Mr. Milk approved.

This raspberry tie is for the best man (to match the maid of honor's dress)

I ordered two aqua ties to go with the two bridesmaids dresses

And finally a turquoise tie to match the third bridesmaid's dress

Where are you ladies getting the guys ties from? Are you matching them to your ladies dresses?

I know what you mean about the guys attire being sooo much easier! lol

We also went with ties from the tie barn, though, I sent the link out to the guys and asked that they order them themselves (plus the rest of their outfits)... I think this may have been a mistake. Now I'm stressing out that one guys is going to wait until the last minute and the clothes they need aren't going to be available anymore. I should have just done it myself. =P

I got our GM's ties from The Tie Bar, too!! I was very pleased with the company's customer service as well as the quality of the ties. I ended up having to do some exchanges and they handled everything with ease. You're in good hands! Also, LOVE the colors you picked :)

Great picks! We’re getting dark purple ties from Men’s Wearhouse that coordinate with the ladies’ dresses. I agree that choosing the men’s attire was so simple and easy compared with choosing my gown and the girls’ attire!

I love all three colors. We are boring and just went with the tie the tux came with, it is Ivory with a Paisley design.

i really love the texture and design and color of your tie choices! to match them to each bridesmaids' dress color is such a fun idea. for our guys, hubs went to macy's during a sale and had a coupon :) the ties were all lavender with small stripe detailing.

Wow, I am really in love with your bold color palette! It will look so beautiful against the sky and the white :) Our guys will be wearing yellow/gold ties to compliment the girls' chocolate dresses. Picking out the tie I liked from Macy's was easy - getting 5 of the same to match was tough, even with online ordering!

LOVE your color palette - the ties look great! I will definitely have to keep that website in mind for when we finally decide on attire for the guys.

I also got my Ties from the Tie Bar through Amazon.com. They're aqua too but with stripes.

They look great - what a bargain! Love the ones you've picked. The subtle texture looks fantastic.

We went old school black tie them yourself bowties - which ended up looking great - but nearly ended up being a nightmare. Stay tuned for future post.

Lovely colors and awesome deal lady!

The guys got their ties from Men's Warehouse but my brother actually bought my husband's Paul Smith gold tie in China (err not sure if it was real but it looked nice!)

Thanks for your encouragement, Chocolate Lover! It has helped so much! Truly! You are a good friend! Yes, we did tuxes and it was very easy! The girls got their dresses from David's Bridal, so we went to Men's Wearhouse. The dresses are latte, so the guys got the latte to match. Our other color is sage, so James got the sage to match.

I love your colors! SO, so fun!!!
